Edith M. Bridges, 81, of Newington, passed away peacefully at home on Friday.
Born in Penobscot, ME, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Marie (Mitchell) Bridges. Edith has been a long time Newington resident, moving from Berlin 35 years ago. She worked as a Home Health Aide for many years.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Joey Del Rio of New Britain, her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Kim Leach of CO, several grandchildren and one special grandson Jason Libby of Cheshire, also two great grandchildren, Connor and Melanie. Edith was predeceased by a son James Leach, her brother Alan Bridges and her sister Carolyn Blodgett.
