  1. Obituary for Richard Gosselin
    Richard Paul Gosselin, 74, of Cambridge passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Cambridge Medical Center.
    He was born on December 27, 1934 in Marlborough, Massachusetts to Alfred and Alice (Correa) Gosselin and grew up in Hudson, MA. Richard attended St. Michael’s Catholic School and graduated from Hudson High School. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy on January 18, 1952 and was honorably discharged on January 17, 1960.
    On August 31, 1957 he was united in marriage to Judith Curley at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hudson, MA. To this union three daughters were born. They made their home in Hudson where Richard was a firefighter, worked in construction and trucking. In 1972 the family moved to Cambridge, Minnesota. Richard drove truck for Murphy Motor Freight Lines as a truck driver, worked for various businesses in Cambridge and retired in April 2008 from the Isanti County Jail where he was a bailiff and jailer.
    Dick enjoyed golfing, fishing, and square dancing. He and Judy were members of the Wandering Wheels, and North Branch Squares square dancing clubs and traveled throughout Minnesota and other states. He was a member of the Cambridge American Legion. Dick knew a lot of people and enjoyed visiting with people and always had a good story to tell.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Judy of Cambridge, daughters Michelle and husband Kent Olsen of Andover, Laurie and husband Paul Radmer of Spokane, WA, Cris and husband Gordy Anderson of North Branch, five grandchildren Chad Olsen, Sara Radmer, Amanda Olsen, Katie Radmer and Travis Anderson, two step grandchildren Sharon Todd and Melissa Radmer-Strawn, sister Barbara Bowen of North Kingstown, RI, as well as many other relatives and friends.
