Audrey M. Cornwell of West Concord dies at 92
WEST CONCORD–Audrey M. Cornwell, 92 of West Concord, a long-time area homemaker, died Thursday of cancer at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
Mrs. Cornwell was born Audrey M. Holliday on June 29, 1891, in Winona County. She married Clifford Cornwell Sept 28, 1910 in Mantorville, and the couple lived in the West Concord area their entire married life, where they farmed for a while and then operated a bulk oil business. Mr. Cornwell died in 1977.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Orville(Janice) Dornquast of West Concord. She was also preceded in death by two sons, a grand daughter, five sisters and four brothers.
The funeral is 1 pm Monday at the West Concord United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Island Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Sunday at the West Concord Funeral Home. There will be no reviewal.
