Europe was having a protracted heat wave this summer, and the Mediterranean is especially hard hit by global warming. Naples was difficult to endure with an apartment that was purported to have air conditioning. I have to admit – it did exist…. but it did not work. Small point unappreciated and disputed by Rosita – the landlady.
