Day 63 Trieste

Trieste is where we disembarked our seven day cruise of the Aegean, Mediterranean, and Adriatic Seas. We have only a few days before we board the QEII in Southampton for our return to America and we really wanted to visit Budapest so we began traveling more quickly than usually. Eastern Europe does not have the rail system we have become accustomed to in Western Europe, but busses are viable and reliable travel solutions here. Perhaps the difference is capital improvements in the Soviet arena. In any case, we traveled Eastern Europe via bus.
