There is no fee to enter Mount Rushmore and therefore access passes, veteran’s passes, golden age passes, etc. are not recognized. I don’t suppose anyone is going to complain a lot about the $11.00 parking fee, but it is sort of a work around to charge you for what is supposed to be free for some segments of our society. My complaint is that I shouldn’t have paid for the parking because the views are actually better from outside the parking area. None of the pictures I’ve posted here are from inside the park.
