This truck was transporting a piece of gear for a recycling facility from Texas to California. It was so large, support teams were closing the road to allow this caravan to pass. There were maintenance vehicles, state department of transportation vehicles, state police cars, public service vehicles to move utility lines, etc. We spoke with one of the guys who was involved in closing the road while waiting an hour for all this to pass. They were allowed to use back roads during daylight hours only and expected the move to last for more than three weeks.
