Cartagena

We spent Xmas Day in Cartagena. As usual, we eschewed the tour buses and engaged a taxi to take us around. The drivers always know the sights and we are not at the mercy of the mob and their timing and interests. For a $20 tip you can guarantee yourself an insider’s look and your personal preferences, i.e. go to the bathroom when you want. Not to mention buses cannot negotiate the narrow streets of old town.
